we are sorry that we could not say good bye,
but we had to leave early and did not want to disturb your yoga class.
so, we enjoyed our days in one of your beautiful houses, the yoga-lessons, the little trip trough the jungle and we had much fun with your two "puppies".
to stay right in the woods is really something different, right away from the big hotels in cancun and playa.
maybe we see us again in the future.

Message: Thanks Leon for the extraordinary experience. We found your place over internet, and thought it looked to good to be true, but it turned out to be even better than expected. The feeling of being out in wild nature combined the spiritual yoga classes and closeness to beach, Tulum, and all other attractions of the Maya cost, made it the perfect base for visiting east Yucatan.

Message: Wij hebben hier afgelopen zomer (2008)9 dagen doorgebracht, en het was heerlijk. Vlakbij het strand (waar je wel een auto voor nodig hebt) maar tegelijkertijd zit je hier in een totaal andere sfeer als bij de massalere resorts aan de kust. Wij vonden het prettig dat je je eigen eten etc. kan koken en elke dag kwam Leon wel met iets extra's langs voor ontbijt; verse mango, papaya, heeel veel sinasappels. Je zit ook letterlijk in de natuur, met alle ontmoetingen van dien met kleine beesten. Soms best spannend, maar ook mooi. Wij keken bijv. uit op een vlinderboom, waar elke ochtend tientallen vlinders in- en omheen fladderden. Een aanrader voor mensen die van schoonheid en kwaliteit houden zonder schmuck en die het fijn vinden om een kleinschalige uitvalsbasis in de natuur te hebben. Verder is Leon erg leuk en relaxed.

Message: We can not say enough good things about Organic Yoga. Our palapa roofed and adobe like cabana was encircled by a mosquito proof patio, with beautiful hand carved wooden furniture and a fridge and coffee maker. The room was big and SPOTLESS, with beautiful bedding and wonderfully romantic mosquito nets. The AC unit is top of the line, quiet and amazing, and the bathroom is a work of art. We saved quite a bit of money preparing our own food in the wonderful communal kitchen where Leon has taken care to provide great breakfasts, purified and alkaline water, and awesome cookware for those who wish to make a snack. He allowed us to use the laptop for internet, and the flat screen TV in with 1000 channels was a nice treat! It is perfectly quiet,clean, and well designed. Leon is a most exceptional owner- so generous and personable without hovering. He is clearly not in this for the money, but rather so that his guests feel at home and really enjoy their time in the Yucatan. His personal energy infuses the property with a sense of goodness and positivity. Thank you Leon!

Our 2-week stay at Shakti house was so peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and the crickets sang us to sleep. The screen porch and coffee maker made the early mornings with the jungle birds a treat. Yoga with you is always special. See you next year. Darrel and Susan
